On Easter Sunday I went busking at the Saturday Market for the first time this spring! We had no idea how many people would be there because it was Easter, but it turned out that many people were there! The weather was very nice and sunny. I played a large range of repertoire, including the Mendelssohn and Bruch Violin Concertos and lots of Handel Sonatas. I ended up staying for a while, and because of the generosity of the Portland community, I am now 5% closer to my goal! The weather forecast is rainy next Sunday, so unfortunately I probably won’t be busking. But look for me when the weather is agreeable! It was exiting to be busking again, and I am amazed as always by the support and munificence of the Portland Community. Thank you!
