As many of you know, for the past few years I have given back to the generous community supporting my music education by hosting a chamber music concert with friends who generously donate their time. Last year, my sister Victoria joined me in the planning for the event. It is hard to believe that this year is the 4th annual chamber music concert.
This year the concert will be held on Sunday, November 27th. Doors open at 6pm and the Concert will be from 6:30 – 7:30pm. The concert will be held at the Tabernacle Church at 26 SW Condor Way, Portland, OR 97239 (see map here).
Let’s continue in the spirit of thankfulness by supporting the 4th Annual Chamber Music Concert! Come and enjoy music presented by violinists Byron & Victoria, and friends from the Oregon Symphony, the PYP Quartet, and “I Ragazzi” Baroque with countertenor Michael Meo.
The Concert is free but we will collect donations to benefit Human Solutions, JOIN: connecting the street to a home, Street Roots, and PACS. These four agencies offer programs and services that help people experiencing poverty and homelessness. Last year we raised $2,400 and hope to exceed the goal again this year!
Following the concert will be a reception made possible by generous donations by Whole Foods Market and Peet’s Coffee & Tea. The nonprofit agencies we are supporting will alsobe there so you can learn more about their great work. We also want to thank Laurelhurst Florist for their helping make the event special by donating floral arrangements!
Let’s make this Winter warmer and brighter for those in need! — Please come and bring your friends and family!
